The child should not be pressurized to perform before guests.
• The child should be encouraged to share his/her experience with parents.
• Spend quality me with your child. It is the biggest investment for your child's future.
• Overprotecng can make the child dependent.
• A child's failure should not maer as long as he/she tries.
• Comparing children is meaningless. For every child is unique.
• The child should be encouraged to take decisions.
• Listening to the child with paence will make him/ her a good listener.
• Using foul language before children would make them foul- mouthed.
• Children need our presence more than our presents.
• Fostering love for learning in the child is important.
• A child should not be expected to behave like an adult.
• Cricizing the child before others can shake his/her self- confidence.
• Understanding the child's point of view makes it easier to guide him/her.
• No child is bad. It is his/her acons or behavior that may need improvement.
• Listen to your child before you say “why don't you listen to me?”
• Buying all that children want, will not encourage respect for hard work.
Expectaons from the child should be reasonable and achievable.
RECOMMENDATION TO PARENTS
You must go through the circulars sent by the school and take prompt acon on them. The circulars keep you abreast with all that
is happening in the school and the calendar of the events to come. The circulars tell you about the month's curriculum and about what
you can do.
• Do conduct at home the acvies recommended for homework. This helps in the opmal development of the child in certain areas like family values and social interacon that can only be learnt in a home environment.
• Help your child prepare for the performances and presentaons in school. This is a great morale – booster for the child. Winning is not everything. Your child's parcipaon in the events and the celebraons itself gives great exposure. So, help your child
parcipate in all the acvies.
• Do not pressurize children with academic work, rather, give them freedom and encouragement, so that their talents and abilies can bloom. Provide a greater exposure to the environment, so that their general awareness and self-confidence can grow.
• Check the haircut, nails and uniform of your child in the morning before sending him/ her to the school.
• See that your child carries books/ notebooks according to the me table.
• You must visit the school, whenever invited for meengs, seminars and celebraons. Your child is greatly encouraged when he/ she performs in various events in your presence.
• You are requested to parcipate in these interacons whole- heartedly, so that your child gets the best.
